Unlike traditional thermoset carbon, thermoplastic carbon offers superior impact resistance, increased stiffness, improved vibration absorption and excellent thermal stability. It also enables easier repair and reprocessing, extending the wheel’s operational life in demanding racing conditions.
All stages of development — design, machining, lay-up, moulding and finishing — are performed internally at XAP. This complete industrial integration guarantees consistent quality, fast turnaround for custom requirements and extremely tight manufacturing tolerances, essential for single-seater and prototype applications.
The Formula V3 offers an optimized grip, refined weight balance and geometry designed to reduce driver fatigue while enhancing steering precision. Depending on configuration, it may integrate Hall-effect paddles, illuminated push buttons, high-accuracy rotaries and CAN connectivity compatible with leading motorsport ECUs.
Its one-piece moulded carbon structure minimizes potential stress points, while the internal architecture provides outstanding stability under intensive race use.
