The XAP Technology DASH NTX is a 4.3-inch dashboard for motorsport, endurance racing, test benches and industrial monitoring. Its standard aluminium enclosure can be replaced by an optional carbon enclosure without changing the IP65 rating. XAP brings display, acquisition and configuration together in a compact unit, with dedicated looms available to simplify integration.
The DASH NTX is used in WEC, IMSA and LMP3 programmes, as well as by established rally manufacturers.
The NTX features a 480 × 272 px TFT, an ambient light sensor and 10 programmable RGB LEDs. DashEditor lets users organise the data, alerts and bar graphs required by the driver or operator. It also allows users to build pages from scratch or adapt an existing configuration. Maths channel management is included.
The optional data logging function stores up to 8 GB of data and exports recordings in CSV format. Users can analyse these files with XAP data analysis software or any other software capable of importing CSV data. GPS, Performance Analyser and Tripmaster are included in the full configuration.
XAP offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the carbon enclosure as options to tailor the DASH NTX to the project. Aluminium is the standard enclosure material and both materials retain the IP65 rating. XAP also offers the PF0638 start loom and PF0636 table loom to support wiring preparation and bench testing.
The DASH NTX operates from 8 to 70 V and exchanges data over CAN and USB. XAP can supply PF0638 and PF0636 looms and a custom configuration. The 19-pin connector pinout is reproduced below. Before commissioning, the installer should confirm power protection, CAN termination and data formats against the system documentation.
The product provides up to two CAN communications, 4 analogue inputs usable as switches and 4 digital inputs usable for frequency signals. These digital inputs, identified as WHEEL1 to WHEEL4 in the pinout, can be used as wheel-speed inputs. DBC support allows messages to be tailored to multiple ECUs when the required database and protocol are available.
GPS, 8 GB logging, Performance Analyser and Tripmaster are stated as included with PF0908. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the carbon enclosure are available as options. The start loom and table loom remain separate references.
