The XAP Technology DASH NTS is a modular dashboard platform for motorsport, simulation and demanding monitoring systems. Its common architecture adapts the display format, inputs and interfaces to each project. DashEditor makes it easier to create or update display pages, while optional GPS, data logging and connectivity functions help build a coherent solution around your data.
The DASH NTS combines real-time display and data acquisition on an adaptive electronic platform starting from 7 inches. The commercial range includes the NTS-7, NTS-8, NTS-10 and NTS-10 Touch. XAP can custom-design the housing, LED layout and other integration elements to suit the cockpit or control station.
The self-supporting architecture lets you purchase the electronics alone to create your own enclosure, or order a complete solution with a housing designed by XAP. With DashEditor, you can build a screen configuration from scratch or adapt an existing configuration.
The DASH NTS platform meets the needs of racing cockpits, simulation systems, industrial and marine monitoring systems, engine and vehicle test benches, and IoT and smart telemetry platforms. Its modular structure maintains a common electronic architecture while allowing customisation of the display format, housing and LED interface.
XAP can add a 10 Hz GPS, an 8 GB data logger with CSV export at up to 200 Hz, a touchscreen, performance analysis functions, an odometer or a tripmaster, depending on the project. Simulator compatibility is also available. These functions are optional, and their availability depends on the selected variant and configuration. Before power-up, confirm the wiring, protection, CAN termination, installed options and overall equipment compatibility with XAP.
The DASH NTS accepts an 8 to 70 V power supply and brings together the interfaces required for display, configuration and data acquisition. XAP can adapt the connectors and wiring loom to the vehicle or system architecture. Before installation, the integrator must confirm the variant, options, applicable pinout and communication parameters.
The main J1 connector provides the power supply, USB, two CAN buses, four analogue inputs and four wheel-speed signals. J7 and J10 extend the analogue and digital inputs and add CAN, LIN, RS485 and Ethernet communications. The presence of J7 and J10 depends on the selected hardware configuration and must be confirmed with XAP.
DBC management and the CAN FD, LIN, SAE and NMEA protocols make it easier to adapt the DASH NTS to different equipment. XAP can provide suitable connection components to simplify integration; the exact compatibility of the ECU, protocol, connector and wiring loom must be validated for each project.
