GT-R SIMULATOR - 2 PADDLES - 4 ROTARIES - 6 BUTTONS

XAP Technology GT-R Steering Wheel — Direct Control for Rally Applications

The XAP Technology GT-R is a competition steering wheel with a full rim, designed for rally vehicles. It combines six backlit push buttons, four rotary switches and two or three paddles depending on the selected configuration. Contactless Hall effect technology for the rotaries and paddles reduces wear and play, while CAN communication helps integrate the wheel into the vehicle's electronic architecture.

The 33 cm rim provides a secure grip for the steering movements encountered in rallying.

XAP can customise the front panel with a laser-engraved logo, image or button labels. XAP can also manufacture a quick release for this steering wheel, creating a solution suited to the steering column and vehicle architecture. The two- or three-paddle configuration can be selected according to the functions required by the project.

Key Benefits

  • 33 cm full rim suited to rally applications.
  • Six backlit push buttons for quick control identification.
  • Three 4-position rotary switches and one 12-position rotary switch.
  • Two or three paddles depending on the selected configuration.
  • Contactless Hall effect rotary switches and paddles.
  • Custom front panel and project-specific quick release manufactured by XAP.

Technical Specifications and Integration

The GT-R communicates over CAN 2.0B at a baud rate from 128 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s. XAP can support the mechanical integration and supply a quick release manufactured for the project.

Integration

The steering wheel accepts an 8 to 70 V supply. Its carbon fibre plate and aluminium body form the mechanical base of the product.
