XAP Powerbox – Dedicated Control Module for the E-Shift 1 System
The XAP Powerbox is designed to operate with the E-Shift 1 electromagnetic actuator in electric sequential gearbox control systems.
It forms the electronic part of the system, providing the interface required to integrate actuator control into the vehicle's electrical architecture.
A dedicated electric gearshift solution
XAP's E-Shift technology provides an alternative to pneumatic and hydraulic gearshift systems.
Combined with the E-Shift 1 actuator, the Powerbox contributes to a simpler electric architecture without the pumps, seals, tubes or fluids associated with pneumatic and hydraulic technologies.
Engineered for motorsport
The E-Shift 1 system supports CAN commands as well as wired CMD_UP and CMD_DOWN commands and provides CAN diagnostics.
The Powerbox therefore provides a dedicated solution for integrating and controlling the actuator in racing vehicles equipped with sequential gearboxes.
For a complete solution, the Powerbox is also available together with the actuator as the XAP E-Shift 1 + Powerbox Kit.
