The XAP E-Shift 1 + Powerbox Kit combines the E-Shift 1 electromagnetic actuator with its dedicated electronic control module to provide an integrated solution for electric sequential gearbox actuation.
It is designed for motorsport applications requiring fast gear changes, reliability and reduced system complexity compared with conventional pneumatic or hydraulic solutions.
At the heart of the system, the E-Shift 1 uses moving-magnet technology combined with an internal magnetic spring.
It provides ±18 mm stroke, up to 500 N starting pushing force and up to 200 N middle pushing force, with a peak current of 30 A. Supply voltage ranges from 9 to 18 V.
The Powerbox complements the actuator and enables its integration into the vehicle's electrical and electronic architecture.
The E-Shift 1 system supports CAN control as well as dedicated CMD_UP and CMD_DOWN wired commands. CAN diagnostics are also available.
Together, these components provide a solution suited to modern racing vehicle architectures.
Unlike pneumatic or hydraulic architectures, the E-Shift electromagnetic system does not require a pump, fluid circuit, tubing or the associated seals.
