DASH NT3-R — rotary control and embedded processing

The XAP Technology DASH NT3-R is a circular dashboard with a side-mounted rotary control, designed for motorsport, testing, and industrial or defence systems. It displays data, performs calculations, and triggers alarms or actions locally. DashEditor enables users to create or adapt interfaces, while the rotary control and configurable button provide access to pages and confirmation functions without adding external controls.

A configurable display and computing node

The side-mounted rotary control and configurable button allow users to change pages, confirm an action, or acknowledge an alarm directly from the interface. They reduce the need for separate controls on a compact panel.

The NT3-R processes calculations, alarms and logic triggers alongside display functions. DashEditor can create animated graphics, maths channels and circular pages from scratch or an existing configuration.

The product is designed for embedded dashboards, driver interfaces, lightweight prototypes, single-seaters, and compact monitoring or test panels. GPS, data logging, and analysis options tailor the system to racing or rally applications.

Technical specifications and integration

The DASH NT3-R operates from 8 to 70 V and communicates over CAN and USB. XAP can supply a start loom or bench loom and tailor the DashEditor and DBC configurations to the project. Before commissioning, the installer should confirm the pinout, protection, programmable CAN resistors, and option dependencies.

Integration

Two CAN interfaces and two programmable CAN resistors support integration into a distributed architecture. The 4 analogue inputs can connect local signals in line with the validated pinout.

GPS, data logging, Performance Analyser, Tripmaster, Bluetooth, and simulation functions remain optional. XAP can prepare a custom configuration and provide the required looms without assuming plug-and-play integration.
