Multi-criteria environmental monitoring
BattSafe operates as an embedded environmental station within the battery enclosure. It continuously measures temperature, humidity, pressure and the concentration of critical gases including hydrogen (H₂), CO₂, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and ethanol. This multi-gas detection enables early identification of degassing events, leaks or thermal drift.
Embedded intelligence and predictive safety
Using adaptive embedded algorithms, BattSafe analyzes atmospheric trends and detects abnormal behavior before safety thresholds are exceeded. This predictive approach enables early multi-criteria warnings, significantly reducing the risk of thermal runaway and battery damage.
Native integration within XAP architectures
BattSafe features native CAN and CAN-FD communication with DBC formatting, ensuring seamless integration with XAP BMU, BMS, inverters and logging systems. Powered directly by the BMU, it provides continuous 24/7 monitoring, even when the vehicle or system is switched off.
Robust and adaptable design
