Designed for XAP 3-point and 6-point Quick Release systems, this solid hub shaft provides the mechanical connection between the steering column and the racing steering wheel.
Its one-piece construction, without internal cable routing or integrated electrical connectors, meets the requirements of Motorsport applications prioritising mechanical simplicity, rigidity and reliability.
Precision-machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminium using 5-axis CNC technology, it benefits from XAP's expertise in mechanical engineering and precision machining.
Entirely manufactured at XAP's facilities in Calvisson, France, the shaft benefits from integrated production processes, from initial design through to quality inspection.
The ME0151 solid hub shaft is designed for use with XAP 3-point and 6-point Quick Release systems, in combination with an XAP steering column.
Without a central connector or internal cable routing, this version is particularly suitable for steering wheels that do not require electrical signal transmission through the quick-release mechanism.
It is suited to GT, Rally and prototype racing applications requiring a primarily mechanical steering architecture.
The shaft can also be integrated into complete steering column assemblies homologated for vehicles competing in FIA championships.
Please note: this product includes the solid steering column hub shaft only. The Quick Release system is sold separately.
