An essential component connecting the steering column to the racing steering wheel, the XAP GT Steering Column Hub Shaft has been specifically developed for XAP 6-point Quick Release systems.
Drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in demanding Motorsport environments, XAP manages the entire design and manufacturing process, from mechanical engineering to machining and quality inspection.
Precision-machined from a single piece of 15CDV6 steel using 5-axis CNC technology, this shaft features optimised geometry and extremely tight manufacturing tolerances, ensuring a rigid mechanical connection and excellent angular positioning repeatability.

This shaft is specifically intended for XAP 6-point GT Quick Release systems, providing the mechanical connection between the steering wheel quick-release system and the steering column.
Its design meets the requirements for precision, rigidity and reliability in Motorsport applications.
This component is also integrated into complete steering column assemblies homologated for vehicles competing in FIA championships.
Please note: this product includes the steering column hub shaft only. The Quick Release system is sold separately.
