Drawing on nearly 30 years of Motorsport expertise, XAP has developed its 6-Point Quick Release – GT Kit to meet the demanding requirements of GT, Rally and Endurance racing applications.
This quick-release steering wheel system combines precision mechanical engineering, secure locking and outstanding rigidity to ensure a reliable connection between the steering wheel and steering column.
Entirely designed, machined, assembled and inspected at XAP's facilities in Calvisson, France, it benefits from XAP's expertise in mechatronics and precision machining.

A complete kit for GT, Rally and Endurance applications
The XAP 6-Point Quick Release is supplied as a complete kit consisting of two components:
- Steering wheel adapter.
- Steering column hub.
Its 6-point mounting configuration, featuring a Ø 70 mm bolt circle, corresponds to a commonly used mounting pattern in Motorsport, particularly in GT, Rally and Endurance racing vehicles.
Dimensional compatibility with the steering wheel and steering column must be checked before installation.
The system is also used in complete steering column assemblies homologated for vehicles competing in FIA championships.
