XAP 3-Point Quick Release: precision and safety for racing steering wheels

Drawing on nearly 30 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing Motorsport equipment, XAP has developed its 3-Point Quick Release to meet the demanding requirements of racing applications, particularly single-seaters and endurance prototypes.

This quick-release steering wheel system combines precision mechanical engineering, secure locking and optimised ergonomics to ensure a reliable connection between the steering wheel and steering column.

Entirely designed, machined and assembled at XAP's facilities in Calvisson, France, it benefits from complete in-house control over manufacturing processes, tolerances and quality inspections.

Designed for Formula-style racing steering wheels

The XAP 3-Point Quick Release is intended for Formula-style racing steering wheels, including Formula Renault, F2/F3, Formula E and LMP3 applications.

Its 3-point mounting configuration and splined connection allow integration with compatible XAP steering column hub shafts and steering columns.

The system is designed to facilitate quick steering wheel removal and refitting while maintaining a precise and secure mechanical connection.

An optional electrical connection interface can be provided upon request, depending on the application's requirements. Please contact us to discuss the appropriate configuration.

The XAP 3-Point Quick Release is also integrated into complete steering assemblies homologated for vehicles competing in FIA championships.

Please note: this product includes the 3-Point Quick Release only. The steering column hub shaft and additional accessories are not included.
