The XAP Technology MPC 24LP is a power distribution module for competition vehicle architectures combining several voltage levels. It controls command functions, auxiliary systems and power equipment through a centralised architecture. Its 24 power outputs and electronic protections support a scalable system, while providing integrators with a compact foundation for securing and streamlining the vehicle’s electrical network.
The MPC 24LP supports separate 12 to 75 V networks: the voltage applied at the input is delivered at the output. This architecture can combine 12 V, 24 V and 48 V networks within the same project while maintaining power distribution suited to each function.
XAP pairs the module with a central MPC-CMD controller to coordinate onboard equipment. Soft start, freewheeling diode protection, overcurrent protection and under- or overvoltage detection apply to every output. The MPC 24LP therefore helps teams protect auxiliary equipment and simplify the vehicle’s electrical architecture.
The MPC 24LP provides integrators with 24 power channels, identified as LP1 to LP24 on connector J7. The wiring also carries the command supply and CAN bus. XAP can support architecture definition, configuration and connection work to adapt the module to the project’s electrical networks.
Before installation, the integrator must validate the wiring, upstream protection, CAN termination and load compatibility against the module’s limits.
